Private Vault currently provides an on-device foundation for organizing and protecting copies of photos and videos selected by the user. It is not currently a cloud-backup, synchronization, completed space-saving, or full media-playback service. Planned features shown in the app are previews and are not guaranteed until released.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal or otherwise lawful purposes. You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, infringe another person's rights, or reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute it except where applicable law expressly permits.

You remain responsible for media and other content you choose to handle with an app and must have the necessary rights and permissions. Do not use an app to store, create, or distribute unlawful or rights-infringing content.

An app offers a purchase or subscription only when it displays an App Store purchase screen with the current product, price, duration, renewal, and included benefits. Apple processes payment and refund requests under its terms and applicable law. Purchase restoration and subscription management are provided only for apps that actually sell those products.

Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve paid access where technically and legally possible. No planned or preview feature is promised until it is released.

To the extent permitted by law, apps are provided “as is” and availability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, and prevention of data loss are not guaranteed. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

The apps' code, design, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. User-owned content remains owned by the user.
アプリのコード、デザイン、オリジナルコンテンツは、適用される知的財産法によって保護されます。ユーザーが所有するコンテンツの権利はユーザーに留保されます。
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in the user's country or region.
本規約は日本法に準拠します。ただし、ユーザーの国または地域で強制的に適用される消費者保護を制限しません。
These Terms may be updated when an app or legal requirements change. Material changes will be shown on this page with an updated effective date.
